कोलकाता : सीडब्ल्यूबीटीए के अध्यक्ष, सुशील पोद्दार को 6 नवंबर, 23 को वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्रालय के उद्योग और आंतरिक व्यापार संवर्धन विभाग के तहत राष्ट्रीय व्यापारी कल्याण बोर्ड के सदस्य के रूप में नामित किया गया है, और सरकार सीडब्ल्यूबीटीए इस प्रकार के महत्व का समर्थन करती है। सीडब्ल्यूबीटीए की प्रेस विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार सीडब्ल्यूबीटीए राष्ट्रीय व्यापारी कल्याण बोर्ड को अपना समर्थन देने का वचन देता है।
हमें यकीन है कि सुशील पोद्दार के नेतृत्व में देश का व्यापार फलेगा-फूलेगा। पोद्दार, फेडरेशन ऑफ ऑल इंडिया व्यापार मंडल के राष्ट्रीय वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष भी हैं, इस पद के लिए एक बुद्धिमान विकल्प हैं।
डीपीआईआईटी के आदेश में कहा गया है कि इन सदस्यों को दो साल या अगले आदेश तक मनोनीत किया जाता है। “बोर्ड की प्रत्येक तिमाही में एक बार बैठक होगी। बैठक का कोरम बोर्ड के कुल सदस्यों का एक तिहाई होगा।” घरेलू व्यापार, जिसमें 6 करोड़ से अधिक व्यावसायिक उद्यम शामिल हैं, देश के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद में लगभग 15 प्रतिशत का योगदान देता है। यह लगभग 25 करोड़ लोगों को रोजगार प्रदान करता है।
इससे पहले व्यापारियों को उनके दैनिक खुदरा व्यापार में आने वाली समस्याओं और व्यापारियों और उनके कर्मचारियों के कल्याण को समझने के लिए कोई संस्थागत तंत्र नहीं था।

The President of CWBTA, Mr Sushil Poddar has been nominated on 6th
November’23 as the Member of the National Traders Welfare Board, under the
Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce &
and Government of India.
CWBTA endorses the importance thus given by Govt. of India to Trading
Community of the Country, which is on way to multi-trillion economy.
Traders are vain to the economy development body and CWBTA pledges its support
to the National Traders Welfare Board. We are sure that under leadership
participation by Shri Sushil Poddar, trade of the Country will flourish. Mr. Sushil
Poddar being also National Senior Vice President of Federation of all India Vyapar
Mandal, Is wise choice for the post granted.
The DPIIT order said that these members are nominated for two years or until

third of the total members of the Board,” it said..
Domestic trade, which comprises over 6 crore business enterprises, contributes
around 15 per cent of the country’s gross domestic product. It provides
employment to about 25 crore people.
Earlier there was no institutional mechanism to understand the issues and
problems faced by traders in their day-to-day business operations for the growth of retail trade and the welfare of traders and their employees.
